Elekem Ltd, part of the Ensinger group, is based in the Rossendale Valley, East Lancashire. The Company was founded in 1975 and produces products using PEEK and PTFE material for final machining. Elekem developed the first advanced technology spin moulding machines for the manufacture of PEEK tubes. Significant investment in process development and bespoke in-house constructed production machines, have allowed Elekem to offer a wide variety of tube sizes and thicknesses under the trade name TECAPEEK SM. Other processing techniques include compression moulding, isostatic moulding, etching and CNC machine finishing.
Elekem’s customers both locally and globally cover a broad base of industries, but not limited to, the oil and gas, seals, food, hydraulic/fluid handling, pump manufacturing, chemical, transportation, electronics, aerospace, medical and various other engineering applications.
