PTFE offers important benefits to mechanical and civil engineers, the material properties can be adjusted by incorporating fillers and additives to better suit particular applications.

Increased wear and Creep resistance, mechanical strength and even anti static properties can be incorporated into the final blend, this combined with chemical inertness (excepting high temp alkali metals), and a temperature range of -250 deg C to + 250 C allow the material to be used in conditions prohibitive to other materials.

Elekem can supply filled PTFE product grades tailored to your performance needs utilising in house specialist moulding and cnc machining facilities.
